The world is not flat. Similarly the solar system model that we are taught is not flat and heliocentric as understood conventionally. The centre of the solar system, the sun itself is moving at an astonishing speed all the time. So the planets around it is also running away along it. The one-eyed modern science fails to acknowledge the inner beauties of creation for it is only interested in external observations and void of internal insight. Modern science often covers up the fact that the mind boggling way the creation is put together is impossible to the power impossible if it were to come out of chaos and randomness. The Final Testament and Revelation thus again and again calls man to reflect, observe and not to deny and not to be ungrateful for all the gifts. Ask any astronomer who travelled to space, how dangerous place the space is. And in that space the entire solar system is travelling. This is such a beautiful demonstration of the glory of the Glorious Creator that it needs to theology to appreciate. Only the most miserable and ungrateful denier will fail to see its grandness. And which of the gifts of the Lord will they deny? - asks the Quran. The Final Testament reminds us the following in relation to the orbits of Sun and other heavenly body and the Signs in them: For you (God) subjected the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses. And for you He subjected the night and the day. - the Quran 14, verse 33 (God is) the One Who created the night, the day, the sun and the moon. Each one is travelling in an orbit with its own motion.” - the Quran 21, verse 33 The sun must not catch up the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. Each one is travelling in an orbit with its own motion. - the Quran 36, verse 40 Indeed, We, the Divine Authority of Absolute Power, have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars.
