The world lost a very important person today.... The mother of my husband -whom without, my life would not be the same. She was strong, courageous, opinionated, fiercely loyal to her family and loving to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to polka and she made the best chocolate chip cookies this side of heaven. She was a female business owner at a time when it was unheard of, She survived the depression, the loss of two husbands, her mother and father, a grandchild, three siblings and countless friends. She was mom to me and I will miss her always and be forever grateful that she shared her first born son, David Ray, with me. I promise to take good care of him, mom.
