The world lost a wonderful person today. What started as a professional/patient relationship turned into a friendship that I will so miss. Patricia was my inspiration to seize the day and sign up for my first Ironman. In all of her blog posts she had wisdom to share and made sure that all of her friends knew how important it was to enjoy life and do what you want now and enjoy it. She was my inspiration through every tough day of training, every time I wanted to quit. Patricia was not a quitter. She was the strongest person I have ever known. What a fighter she was! What determination and mental and emotional strength she had. She always amazed me. I am so fortunate to have been able to call her my friend. She will be so missed by me and many, many others.
