The world of jazz and all things jazz-oriented has not been immune to gaffes, blunders and bloopers through the years. The two wonderful books and many columns written by Bill Crow are chock full of them. Here are some you may have missed: Song title blunders on LPs have included Blame it On My Mouth, Tiger Rage, and Chinese Stockings. And who can forget Pee Wee Marquettes famed introduction of Thelonious Monk one night at Birdland as The High Beast of Pre-Bop. He also introduced Paul Desmond one night as Bud Esmond. Heres a compilation of some of Pee Wees best. https://youtube/watch?v=VQKc18Wgoac
