The world view aspect of science has come to inhibit and constrict the free inquiry which is the very life blood of the scientific endeavour. A belief system - philosophical materialism - this is what I disagree with. The essence of science is something any or many spiritual seekers support and follow, not the aggressive atheism of those such as Richard Dawkins or anyone who likes to use science to discount the immaterial aspects of life :-)
