The worlds political system is busted. It does not represent the needs and desires of the people. Voting doesnt work. The politicians are fed with corruption by special interests. Logic, reason, and creativity are absent from government. We need a parallel process to fix it. What we need is an organized opposition. Now, we have governments that are owned by the 0.1%. We need a parallel democracy. We need a way to organize around key problems in the system, and have group action to get these problems fixed. We dont have much time left, because the water/food support system is collapsing around us as we chat. Im thinking that we need a representative system, pyramid of pyramids, because organizing a billion people is two difficult on one level. How many people can you discuss a topic with, and come to a conclusion with? Maybe half a dozen or a dozen? So, lets group people in sets of say 7. Within the group, they would first decide what is the highest priority problem to address. Then, one member of each group of 7 would also join the next higher group of 7. That gets to 49-7 = 42 people. Again, they discuss what is the highest priority item. Some feedback to the lower level is required, so that the lower level can see if the added wisdom from the upper level changes their priority or not. A feedback loop is formed. Again, a representative of the second level group is chosen to become a member of the third level pyramid. The discussion is repeated, the feedback is repeated. Now the number of people has increased to 42 x 7 - 7 = 287. Repeat the process to level 4 = 287 x 7 - 7 = 2,002. level 5 = 2002 x 7 - 7 = 14,007 level 6 = 14007 x 7 - 7 = 98,042 level 7 = 98042 x 7 - 7 = 686,287 level 8 = 686287 x 7 - 7 = 4,804,002 level 9 = 4,804,002 x 7 - 7 = 33,628,007 level 10 = 33,628,007 x 7 - 7 = 235,396,042 level 11 = 235,396,042 x 7 - 7 = 1,647,772,287 level 12 = 1,647,772,287 x 7 - 7 = 11,534,406,982 ( the whole world!) So this gives us a manageable process for deciding what is important. Most people only have to deal with 6 people. 1/7 people will have to deal with 12 people. 1/49 will have to deal with 18 people. The highest level would have to deal with 72 people, or 12 groups. After the priority has been determined, the next step is to decide what to do about it. All the people have been linked. They all have feedback from the top. They are all linked together. The action might be to get public funding for elections or to boycott beef, phase out coal, reduce defense spending, ???? We the people get to decide what needs to be changed, and how to do it. The next question is how to document it. It needs some kind of software support. People need to view the results of the other groups, but not necessarily the conversations. But, the reasoning for the decisions should be visible to all.
