The worst form of imprisonment is self imprisonment. For years, - TopicsExpress

The worst form of imprisonment is self imprisonment. For years, the media fought for freedom of information and just recently, the Goodluck Jonathan administration signed that into law. Why have they decided to throw all those years of suffering and struggles into the lagoon? The various media houses have been divided between the two major political parties in Nigeria. Im not sorry to say this, but, theyve failed the common man. The Sun Newspaper has been literally bought over by PDP, Tribune, Vanguard, the Guardian and the rest have been shared among other political parties, with each of them singing praises of their fathers and mud-slinging the opposition. The battle goes on and people are continually misinformed, because, when two elephants fight. . . The Nigeria Television Authority is nothing but a pen in the hands of the PDP. I bet their workers are denied salaries for anyday they fail to be sycophants. Channels Tv, ermmmm, i dont even know their own stand, but my instinct tells me that one party must be dictating the tune for them. The state of the EBBC in my state is what Hon. Patrick described as a pisma bisma. 24/7, they sing praises like choristers singing praises to the Lord. I stopped listening to their radio station because of the trash they keep saying. Im not against giving honour to whom it is due, what i dont buy is praise singing being someones occupation. Mbanu! Why dont we wake up to the realisation that the media ought to be neutral at all times? Why dont the media put an end to this brown envelopes syndrome and embrace their jobs wholeheartedly? O gini di ifea? Eh? Hian! Oh! All my friends that are lawyers should be warming up to defend me in court anytime soon. Hehehehehehe
