The worst thing a horror film can be is boring, but Midnight Meat Train is just the opposite. Midnight Meat Train is strong & effective due to great directing (পরিচালক Kitamura জানেন how to build tension), dark themes & intense story of obsession, insanity & human harvesting. I would highly recommend MMT to any slasher horror fan. সিনেমার কাহীনি নিয়ে তেমন কিছু বলব না। তবে cinematography নিয়ে না বলে পারছি না। Incredible camera angle, breathtaking gory sequences, set design, চরিত্রগুলোকে ফুটিয়ে তোলা, suspense, effects, দৃশ্যায়ন এবং Acting মাথা নষ্ট করার মত। Vinnie Jones (as Mahogany) এমন একটা চরিত্রে এমন দুর্দান্ত অভিনয় করবেন কল্পনাও করা যায় না। পেশায় সে কসাই। প্রতিদিন গভীর রাতে সে বাসা থেকে সুটেড বুটেড হয়ে একটা লেদার ব্যাগ নিয়ে নিপাট ভদ্রলোকের মত সাবওয়ের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা হয়। তারপর ট্রেনে উঠে বসে। আর অপেক্ষা করতে থাকে তার শীকারের জন্য। দাঁড়ান দাঁড়ান। যদি ভেবে থাকেন Mahogany সিরিয়াল কিলার Than you are living in fools paradise. এটা খুবই সাধারণ মানের guess হয়ে গেল। যাই হোক সে রহস্য উদঘাটন আপনারা মুভিটা দেখে করবেন। Bradley Cooper (as Leon) একজন ফটোগ্রাফার ছবি তোলার জন্য প্রতিদিন গভীর রাতে বের হয়। এমনি একদিন Mahogany দেখে তার মনে সন্দেহ জাগে। সে তাকে ফলো করে। Mahogany বুঝতে পারে তাকে কেউ ফলো করছে। হঠাত্ সে দাড়িয়ে যায়। বিপাকে পড়ে যায় Leon। কারণ আশেপাশে এমন কোন জায়গা নেই যে সে সেখান ঝুপ করে লুকিয়ে যাবে। ১, ২, ৩...... করে বেশ কয়েক সেকেণ্ড পেরিয়ে গেলেও Mahogany পেছনে না ফিরেই আবার হাটতে শুরু করে। কিছুদুর যেয়ে সে দাড়িয়েই পেছন ফেরে এবার লিওন লুকবার জায়গা পেয়ে দ্রুত একটা দেয়ালের আড়ালে লুকিয়ে পড়ে। Mahogany এর ঘাড় ঘুরিয়ে তাকাবার এই দৃশ্যটি আপনার হৃদস্পন্ধন বাড়িয়ে দিতে যথেষ্ট। তার মুখের অভিব্যক্তিকে দুর্দান্ত Camera Angle দিয়ে এমন দৃশ্যের অবতারণা করে যা বলবার নয়। এমন দৃশ্য আরও আছে। Its seedy, strange, creepy as hell. Why Mahogany butchering people on the train? Why is there a midnight meat train? Whats the end result here? I wont give that away, but its quite the twisted twist when all is finally revealed and it has an ending that genre fans should appreciate, for most part MMT is one hell of a ride, that will chill you to the bone, make you naseous, & mess with your head.........all in the same breath.
