The year 2014 is gone. This is one of the best years in our political histroy. All parties got what they desever in the elections it is time to move fowared and strategies for the future of this country BDP won the elections, but they get the shock of their lives. Something they never expirence since they become a political party. But it seems they learned nothing out of it. BDP will never grow from were it is right now becouse they are brain dead. Only those who worshirp political leaders are left at BDP. Its young generation can just show you that BDP is no longer attracting any Brain on its fold. If a Party apoints Alex its campaigning manager is good as dead. As the party in Gorvement there is no how BDP could win 2019 when the following are not attended 1) Trabalistic Counstitution 2) Land Managemnt 3) Lack of Employement 4) Coruption on the leadershirp 5)Apointing of political rejects on critical position 6) Abusing of public assets 7) Poor relationshirp with the private media 8) Poor managemnt and monotering of projects 9) Khamas pety programs 10) Poor standard of education 11) Poor working coonditions If BDP Gorvenment can resolve this issues it cant atract new voters but it can keep most young people out of politics and win the elections as a result of vote apathy UDC, they come very late into the picture, failed to feel candidates in all constituencies. They had to deal with so many problems on they way. The Death of their vice president also took some energy out of them. They failed to cover the whole country to explain their brand and how it is related to the member parties in the rural locations. They votes comes from the greater gaborone which is a very good start. But the managed to score 17 seats. If they can do the following they will celebrate victory in 2019 1) Rebranding BPP under UDC to attract all BPP votes who voted (BDP,BCP and IND) as they thought UDC was a completely a new party. It can bring them 8-10 seats in Bukalang, Tswapong, Phikwe and Francistown. ( The projected has started) 2) Rebranding BNF under UDC for the same reasons. This project whould be done in ngwaketse, kweneng west, Kgalagadi, Ganhzi, Thamaga, Moshupa and Gaborone South. Shoshong, Boteti and Tonota. The project would bring 11-13 seats if managed well. 3) Proper Marketing of BMD in the following Constituencies, Ramotswa, Lobatse, Maun East,Nhabe, Chobe, Serowe, Phalapye and Mahalapye. The project would bring 5-7 more seats . 4) Recruiting politicians with brains from all political parties and non partisan citizens. 5) To run a non discriminatory primary elections in all 57 constituencies giving people candidates time to register people in the party through any of the three member parties. In all constituencies as long as you are a member of any of the three member parties be allowed to stand for and vote in primary elections. 6) Forget about cooperating with BCP and start to recruit from the BCP camp for both political leaders and voters. ( If BCP is for Cooperation they will come without being persuaded) 7) Making Sure that they had some strong campaigns to encourage young people to register to vote forcing the voters roll to around 1,4 million to cater for split votes BCP. I have been accused of having hatred on BCP before the elections. To me they performance was not a surprise at all. I warned them many times that they are becoming irrelevant in our political arena. I see them retaining non of they seats if UDC can focus on growing itself without wasting it time with talks of cooperation with BCP. BCP is a party formed out of anger. They have been bitter from the day they were formed. They wish since then was to destroy BNF. They thought with time BNF will collapse and they take that position. Honestly speaking they 5 seats in 2009 was fluke and it was the results of the infighting with the BNF. BCP will stay irrelevant in botswana politics. If they want to survive they will have to do the following. 1) Agree on the cooperation with UDC without conditions from them but from the three UDC member parties. 2) Fire 90% of its leaders ( They are clowns) including the president 3) Be realistic on they operation. 4) Stop insulting UDC. 5) Allow a more open political engagement with all Batswana. Failure in which they will have 0 MP and less than 10 councillors in 2019. These Believe that UDC cant win elections without BCP is utter nonsense to make UDC to be unnecessary desperate to work with a dishonest and Bitter BCP who will pull out of the cooperation when they know that is late for UDC. Depending on its work UDC will win or loss elections with or without BCP in 2019
