He was surrounded by people in scrubs. Doctors, his mind registered. Someone noticed that his eyes were open. Soon he was anesthetized back to the realm of unconsciousness. Next time he woke up was in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar room. The hospital, he figured. But things were still blurred. What had happened? How did he end up here? And the most chilling question of all – Who was he? This confusing trail of questions was interrupted by the entry of three people – a doctor, he guessed by the apron and two others with welled up eyes. But who were they, he had no idea.
