#The_Air_Combat_Series MiG-23 Another Soviet fighter which had its own set of problems but in proper hands could do wonders. Early variants of this fighter were very tough to fly due to their tendency of departing from controlled flight when sharp movements were made. It also had a unique system in the throttle which didnt allow the pilot to reduce the thrust under some specific conditions. A plus point was, it had tremendous acceleration and very few fighters could match that. Newer variants incorporated refinements and only then it could use the variable swing wings properly for low speed maneuvering. Later variants could be called all rounders due to tight turning capability and very good acceleration. Still it was a tough fighter to fly, there were some fatal crashes during the Constant Peck programme involving this fighter, American opinion was echoed by several export customers of this fighter. The Soviets on the other hand, used this fighter for aggressor training, 3rd pic in the post shows a Flogger with shark tooth which was used for aggressor training. #εpsilon
