I want black Americans to thank our ancestors for ignoring the black nations of west Africa who opposed the abolition of slavery during the talks in London and Paris. Finally, blacks should be thankful that they are not living among their starving, warring, brothers and sisters of Africa who live on less than $2 per day, and thank white America for babysitting them for the last 200 years. I want to tell them that it is far past the time for them to be responsible for themselves, just like everyone else."
