Theatre major cindy katz played role oof stage actress in age of innocence. When i was a theatre major at new paltz college she was soon to graduate and go to yale for her graduate studies. Still excites me to see her name in movie credits. John turturro also graduated from new paltz and did grad studies at yale and did very well for himself. Samantha citron, was a great character actor as maid in george clooney and michelle pheiffer movie where they both had kids and were at odds but eventually came together. Very proud of the people i knew who went on to do bigger and better things. Alot of folks went to chicago and founded their own theatre company as well as los angeles. I still miss timothy j miles, costume professor and designer extraordinaire who we lost sadly in the first wave of the aids crisis. He was from elmira, studiied at bing univ and went on to design for metropolitan opera before he became guru of costumes at new paltz. Huge influence.
