Theft/RSP Charges: On 10/14/2014, a resident in the 300 block of Rosedale Avenue reported that numerous tools had been stolen from the basement of his residence the previous day. It was subsequently determined that approximately $1680.00 worth of tools were stolen. The follow-up investigation revealed that on 10/16/2014, Shyler N. Merida, age 20, Danielle Court, was in possession of several of the stolen tools and transferred them to a third party. The value of the tools in her possession was approximately $880.00. She was taken into custody, charged for Receiving Stolen Property $500 to $10,000 and Theft by Deception Under $500, and lodged in the MCDC. On 10/17/2014, Jeremy S. Burns, age 35, Robbinsville Loop, had been in possession of the remaining stolen tools and had transferred them to another party as well. Burns was taken into custody and lodged in the MCDC. He was charged for Receiving Stolen Property $500 to $10,000 and Theft by Deception Under $500. A third suspect is being sought in connection with the theft. (2525/412)
