Theme: Time for Reconciliation. 2 Corinthian 5:17. During the 1968 presidential campaign, the Town of Deshler, Ohio, USA became famous. One of the candidates was making a whistle stop there. A 13 years old girl picked up a sign that someone had dropped and held it up. The sign said Bring us together again. That is our call today as Southern Sudanese The news media picked this up, and the little girl from Deshler, Ohio, US became famous overnight. BRING US TOGETHER AGAIN Bring us together again- thats the cry of the heart today in South Sudan. There is a need for reconciliation in our country we all love today, for people to be brought back together again. The bible begins with record of perfect harmony- Heaven and Earth working together in joyful cooperation. But then sin enters into the picture and there is division , dissention, death and separation. Man is separated from God. Man runs from God and hides. And then man is separated from man with brother killing brother. There is a separation of races, prejudices, discrimination, bigotry , nepotism and Nations against Nations as book of Genesis records the awful consequences of sin. The great need is for reconciliation, and that is the work of our Lord Jesus Christ. In dictionary book, reconciliation means to bring together that which was separated or at war at each others, like we had now in our Country. The question today remain between you and I. Do we need peace amongst each others, I thinks we all would know what would be the answer. Have a great weekend ,God bless...Thanks
