Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan - TopicsExpress

Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry. (NLT) ( Luke 4:1-2 ) Just as Jesus was tempted by the devil, we too are constantly tempted. Temptation in our lives may not be so obvious because we may be unaware that it’s harming us. It could simply be a lack of appreciation. Sometimes we take things for granted when we feel entitled to something. While the devil wants you to feel entitled, our loving God wants you to count your blessings.
