Then Jesus said to his followers, I tell you the truth it will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven. Yes I tell you that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a neddle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:23-24 Its not sinful to be wealthy but with wealth we must watch our hearts, actions, the temptations and wants when it comes to self. Money can bring a sense of entitlement and make us believe we deserve the money so we serve our own desires instead of Christs. This is also a warning for those striving to become rich, without a relationship with Jesus Christ you can have all the money in the world and still have no fulfillment in you life. Your money cant buy your way to God. The only way to the father is through knowing, accepting and living with Christ and all he has done. If your bless with riches or struggling to get by living day to day minute to minute we all need to remember these riches are not of heaven they are the worldly standards, we are all rich in the name of Jesus. You are a child of God and the father will provide for his children we just need to listen.
