Everyday we are on the battlefield of spiritual warfare. We must be prepared in battle gear. We must be sure our feet are shod with the gospel of peace. The solid footing of assurance that we have peace with God and are safe in Him. We must carry the shield of faith. It helps us to resist the Enemys temptations by trusting in God. We must wear the helmet of Salvation. The mind is Satans battle field and it needs to be conscientiously and effectively guarded. We must carry the sword of the Spirit. Gods Word is both an offensive and defensive weapon. It makes inroads for the gospel and also protects us. We are at war. Soldiers of God, are you fully dressed for battle? PRAISING GOD!
