Then there are the loudmouths on Facebook and elsewhere. These are the real thinkers…you know, the ones who will say, as if experts on the matter, “Obviously, what caused this crash was the aircraft hit the seawall before reaching the runway.” Really? Hitting the seawall is what caused the crash? That’s like saying, “What caused these two cars to hit each other was the fact that they collided.” No kidding, Sherlock. Well…somebody should tell these people that hitting the seawall WAS the crash. What CAUSED the crash was whatever event(s) caused the aircraft to be too low on the approach and hit the seawall! Are these folk really that shallow in their thinking? Wow…the world of entertainment, and probably our schools too, really have dumbed us down, haven’t they? Oh wait…I’m being a bit harsh here. Talking about those who are “loudmouths,”—i.e., too quick to speak and slow to think first. I wonder…what percentage of our population really is like that? Scary thought.
