Then they asked “tell us about the covenant demand” the two people who wish to be in a relationship of blood must share blood. The death of an animal is to seal the relationship with curses or blessings: the keepers of the covenant and call death on the breaking of the covenant. Jeremiah 34:18 states “And I will give the men who have transgressed My covenant, who have not performed the words of the covenant which they made before Me, when they cut the calf in two and passed between the parts of it—“ A covenant demand is to trust ones life with the other. Who said that marriage was a contract when in reality blood is shared and life is in keeping. To shout at the sea calling the marine gods to an oracle demands equal trust and both parties need a mind of their own. You demand what you want from the them as they will also demand what they want. The covenant demand entrust that all that I am and have is now shared by the two parties. Abraham cut a covenant with YHWH.. animals lay in halves on the deserts floors. Abraham walked between the offerings and wet his feet with the blood of the animals and rested while waiting for Yhwh to show up. In the early hours of the evening as darkness was covering the earth, behold a torch of light/fire was seen moving up and down between the halves as YHWH walked in the foot steps of Abraham. Saying clearly that what is mine is your and what is yours is mine. The stars could be counted, so the sand of the sea as these would be the number of his children. Only after the covenant did Abraham make a request and Isaac the son was promised. The covenant demand states that you also make a demand. So a while later Yhwh comes to demand, and He demands a son as a sacrifice. In the understanding of the demand Abraham will not consult but obey. Note His words while going up the Mountain, I will come back with him, as the Lord will supply an offering for Himself. Abraham believed that he would kill Isaac and it would be his turn to demand and immediate replacement. To which Yhwh confirmed and said now I know that you trust me, I have my ram for a sacrifice. Take Isaac home he is mine, but I have given him to you, a gift from the dead, a second lease of life, a present of grace makes the father of faith. The covenant demand is the next level for daring Christians who want to move into the greater real of power and victory. In this realm there is life and death and all happens at a larger cosmic scale. You can demand from God: And He can demand from you. Keep your promises for God has no delight over the worship of fools who cant keep their promises when it hurts them. Do not be haste in making your promises, for the sunrise will find you with gravel in your mouth. You can challenge God but be ready to be challenged by Him too. You are invited to the covenant demand: not for the childish Christians: Lets meet on mount Moriah with a knife on the neck of your treasured possession. For Only when they are dead in Him will they be alive in you. To gain access to abundance of stars and sand, you kill the one and only. Deposit your littleness into the greater account of abundance, like a drop on water your drop into the ocean, with your tears mixed with the waters the ocean is now also yours.
