There Is More As the sky comes in, the fog sets, and the thunder rolls, the storm comes in heavy and you wonder, is the blue sky going to ever return. It gets so dark that you cant see your way out and your vision becomes nonexistent. The idea of even seeing a blue sky leaves your mind and you begin to doubt that will even see another rainbow. But just the rain patters get heavier, as the wind pick up speed, as the clouds get thicker, in comes a ray of light. In comes the glimmer of hope that there is more sunshine on its way. And in that moment God shows you he has for you. James 1:12 King James Bible Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. There is a crown that lies on the other side. Do not let the enemy try to take, shake, move, or shift you from where you are. The rain will only last for moment. The winds will be calm soon. The breeze will return and the peace of God that transcends all understanding shall be with you. This is all a metaphor but the reality is much more difficult that rain or a storm. Life is much more than the pitter patter on the window, while you watch from inside of the house. It is much more than the falling of snow. It can be painful, devastating, aching, and full of disappointment. It can bring us to our knees and put us in a position that only God can bring us out of. Even with that fact, without the metaphors, with nothing but reality, there is a way of escape. God gives us the ability to survive, to live, to fight, and defeat the odds. No storm can overtake he who puts his trusts in the Father above. Even with the heartache, life still has more to offer. There are more great memories, more amazing dreams, more grand opportunities to see you aspirations come to life, and simply more joy ahead. God will never leave you nor forsake you! We cannot see what the Lord sees. We don’t know his plans or his ways, but what we do know is his word. We know what he promised. We know that we serve a God that hears and sees all and knows all. And that is all you need to know that after the storm, after the rain, after reality hits to like a ton of bricks. There is and will always be… more.
