There There has been some discussion about certain amounts of fat being eaten and Prof Noakes revising the lists because people are not loosing enough or a plateauing, getting stuck on a weight. In the universe there are fundamental laws, one is the law of conservation of energy. This states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can be changed into matter. This law means that the energy input into the body, ie food, and the energy output of the body, ie exercise, determine if you gain weight or not. If you eat too much and do no exercise you will put on weight. Your body will convert the extra energy you take in to fat and store it. The energy input can be in the form of carbohydrate or fat. If you are gaining weight or are not losing then you have to do one of two things. 1. Eat less, reduced energy input or 2. Exercise more, increased energy output. This diet and any diet cannot work if you can eat as much as you like and not burn up that energy. If you do you will get fat no matter what diet you are on.
