There Was No SLIGHT Problem at Argyle!!! We can have a guess that either those in charge are hell bent at putting peoples lives at risk to make belief with the completion of that airport or someone there does not know the first thing about anything going on there... With my limited knowledge about what I saw with my own eyes, someone paved with loose pebble nearly all of what was supposed to be the runway ... Pebble is what they needed to dig up from more than 2/3 of the near 9000 feet stretch so that they can start doing real compaction work. There was absolutely no compaction work done when the compaction test was carried out.. If the person doing that test was not Vincentian, only God knows what they think about us in SVG and if what my understanding of what took place at Argyle with what was supposed to be the runway where huge jets were supposed to be landing then, we should all be hiding our faces... What is most troubling is that photographs were paraded on FB and elsewhere to help the brag about the airport is near completion and opening by 2014 year end. In fact, those who know better seem to think that we need another 2 years, atleast to even NEAR completion and this is in addition to another $200 million.. This situation is beginning to look more and more like Jim Jones and his followers in Guyana and I wonder whether it would end in the same way...
