There appears to be a divide in opinion of the value of parking up and discussing / coaching / briefing learner drivers. Against that of driving to practice vehicle control and understanding of road situations. Some comments seem quite disparaging of instructors who choose to park up. Is it a waste of the students time and money ? Can you only learn driving by driving ? Are the instructors who dont park up selling the students short in not fully addressing the GDE Matrix ?
