There are 11 people who showed their interest to be members of the Bengalis in Denmark board. Nominees for the board of the Bengalis in Denmark and their reasons for wanting to join the board ( order is based on date and time of receiving the self nominations) are as follows: 1. Rajib Rudra: I would like to nominate myself for one of the positions on the Beninden Board.. I have been associated with the last 2 Durga Pujas and other Beninden initiatives in various forms- for example in leading the Food Committee and I would like to similarly keep contributing for future initiatives.. 2. Rahul Dasgupta: I d like to nominate myself for the beninden committee. 3. Kishore Saha: I nominate myself for the BID board 4. Sk Das: I Dr. Sumanta Das, more commonly know in the community as SK, would like to nominate myself for the post of Managing officer of Bengalis in Denmark. For last 10 months I am a general member of Bengalis in Denmark (BID). I have been actively involved in several events organized by BID with participation ranging from mere performer to organizational duties. I believe that these involvements have prepared me well for the challenges of taking the organizational responsibilities of BID. As such it is time that I provide my vision, constructive criticism and leadership qualities as a Managing officer to the service of the rapidly growing and evolving BID family. I hope that the general members will provide me with this opportunity. 5. Debarshi Mukherjee: I nominate myself for BID Managing Committee. I have been associated with BIDs Managing Committee for the past one year.Together with other Managing Committee members, I expect to bring greater transparency both financially and operationally, to create a platform for collaboration and to provide a long term vision for BID. 6: Supratim Chakraborty:Hi, from the homeland of Vasco da gama, I am sending my nomination for the board election of BID. I am not able to provide a write up, however I look forward to work with the BID group to help the organization grow and reach new heights. 7. Avishek Ganguly : I would like to nominate myself for the board of BID. I would keep on contributing to the board as I have been doing so far. 8. Debasish Chakraborty :I would like to nominate myself for the Beninden board. I would like to be a part of the team to carry on the good work done by the last board and all the other members of the BeninDen family. I want to promote good sprit and easy and friendly work environment as part of the new board. Cheers!!! 9. Abhishek Ghosh : I would like to place my nomination for the board of Bengalis in Denmark. Being part of the first committee of Bengalis in Denmark as the joint media responsible had been a wonderful ride, where my responsibilities included media communications and publicity, as well as authoring and maintaining the website of Bengalis in Denmark. As Bengalis in Denmark enters its second year and broadens its reach to newer shores, I would like to continue serving Bengalis in Denmark in a similar capacity. 10. Krishnendu Ghosh:I would like to nominate myself for the responsibility to take forward the good work and hope to take it to greater heights. 11. Surajit Dutta: I nominate myself with the vision of bringing in a vision and future direction within the team specifically in the areas of financial direction, commercialism, promotion and spreading the reach beyond Bengalis in Denmark. If we need to succeed we need to work together with the idea of making BID a cross social platform.
