There are 3 looms. The nicest one was made in 1977 by Nilus Leclerc. The other 2 are older Union Looms. All of them are in good shape. The Leclerc loom is in excellent condition. They all look well cared for. He was asking $500 for the Leclerc and $300 for the Union looms but he said he was negotiable....and after talking with him a bit, I think hed come down a hundred on them all....maybe more. There are lots of shuttles, & each has the original paperwork & manuals. Im considering the Leclerc but I would have to learn how to operate it. After being there a bit, his son came & was telling stories about his Grandma using them. He said she liked the new one but was it is more complicated & she continued using the other Union Looms. So now Im really not sure which would be the best for a beginner. I told him to give me a couple days & he said if any of my friends wanted to come play for for day, that we were welcome. He also is giving away tons of warp & fabric she has cut up for rugs.
