There are a LOT of different opinions and points of view about pretty much everything about autism and being an autistic (or person with autism -- or autie, Aspie, or just plain different). The arguments can get incredibly loud and heated, and there are people out there who I believe are just plain wrong-headed. But nobody, even people who posted or emailed pretty darn nasty responses to stuff Ive written, have ever threatened me or acted violently. Im floored at what happened at the Charlie Hebdo offices. And angry. And Im grateful for every single website that has posted the offensing images, which may not be the most profound or best cartoons ever, but which represent freedom of the press at its utmost. So Im putting a link to an article featuring several of the most offensive cartoons in the comments here. I know its not related to the topic here, I just want to share them. Theres something to offend everybody in them, so if you dont feel like dealing, you totally dont need to look. But they need to be where they can be seen if people feel like seeing them. Because at this moment, this counts. I will try to be funnier and back on topic tomorrow, I promise.
