There are a bunch of Hypsophrys nematopus in this tank. (Recently, all species of Neetroplus were reclassified.) Normally, they are very aggressive among themselves, but these seem to be living together okay. Theres even a breeding pair living in a cave. At the beginning you can see the mother gathering up the fry several at a time and putting them into the cave. Most of the fish are in their regular colors--light blue-grey with a dark bar. During breeding, the colors reverse as you can see in the video. These are fairly small with males around 5 inches and females around 4 inches. These fish are vegetarians, but they can take care of themselves and especially their nests.
