There are a different range of people with how they treat rules and regulations. I believe the law is there to protect people, not just from each other but from their own government and from hostile foreign threats, but it shouldnt be so strictly enforced with so many regulations that people are bogged down with worry of whether or not they broke the law and theyve ruined their life. On the other hand, if we had unlimited freedom, like America likes to boast about, then all sorts of activity that is detrimental to society will be unleashed, and it is our civil duty to ensure that we have the freedom to do as we please so long as whatever actions we choose are not infringing on the rights of others. Is the law always correct? No. Is it always wrong? No. It is an evolving, living entity, which grows and gets more complicated, however those laws must be based on factual information as well as practical application. ...the question of justice has concerned me greatly of late. And I say to any creature who may be listening, there can be no justice so long as laws are absolute. Even life itself is an exercise in exceptions.
