There are a few artists (*cough*Mel Gibson*cough*Tom Cruise*cough*) that I find hard to watch because I now know they are just nuts. This knowledge detracts from the what Im trying to watch. However there are others who did something screwy and you sort of wrote them off in your mind. Then something happens to remind you of why they got famous. Listening to a mix on iTunes and a some Michael Jackson has come on and I keep going, Wow! I forgot how good this song was! Its easy to just remember the trouble, pedophillic freak he turned into and forget he was one talented singer. King of Pop or not, he could belt out some good ones. Plus I think old Mikey J suffers from the fact that when he was really good, it was the 80s. Given the Kevin Bacon thing, today being Breakfast Club Day and the like, a lot of people are feeling the passage of 30 years and forgetting regardless of what we may think now, back then we probably had all the albums and love the music...even if we too often wont admit to it now.
