There are a few open positions for Java Software Developers and/or Data Scientists in my company innometrics. If anyone is interested let me know, I can forward you the actual requirements. Software developers will typically be responsible to building applications/platforms in java and related technologies. Since Innometrics is a big data company knowledge of tools, databases and technologies such as Hadoop, Camel, Storm, Riak, Cassandra, MongoDB, clouds (Amazon, Cloudfoundry, Paas platforms) will be a big plus. Data Scientists will need to have a good knowledge of data mining and machine learning in order to enable the company to develop components for innovative analytics and predictive data. Knowledge of tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Impala, Redshift, Spark etc. will be a plus. The company could also be interested in you if you are a researcher/Phd. in a related field. The company is looking for someone who is self-driven and can work autonomously but at the same time is a good team player. He/she should have a good mix of theoretical and practical knowledge.
