There are a handful of people, possibly using bots and other means, who are continually posting clickbait and rhetoric despite the fact that FB announced that they were going to limit these things a few weeks back. Instead, they limited the reach of Group pages and so forth then changed the algorithms of how often they were being reached. Almost every time I logon, the order of the posts has changed from Recent Stories to Top Stories. Sponsored Posts are being allowed onto my TL and I see posts on one computer that I dont see on another. I was told not to click on any e-mail from FB requesting personal information because it might be a trick, and also to watch out for certain websites and so forth. Someone else noted that FB told them to post some kind of notice to protect his/her account from being open to predatory use by FB after receiving some kind of notice YET the date on which they said theyd changed those TOS is different from the date on some notice I received (although Ive not clicked on it). So, when youre asking whether or not any of its legal or will protect anyone or anything, I can only say I do not think it will HOWEVER I do not know what to tell you regarding that. Weve all noted that they have changed their Privacy Guidelines and so forth without prior notice... Honestly, its extremely disingenuous of Facebook to even pretend we have agreed or disagreed to anything and there are so many loopholes and nonsense going about that I dont know if its true or not. Someone else noted lawyers being involved to protect FB from people claiming Intellectual Property but IP is not really the issue. It all sounds like a lot of nonsense thats being forced upon us yet it isnt just FB. This is the same reason I dont rush to vote every time theres an election - nor should YOU worry about voting every election, every midterm election, every Presidential election, et. al. BUT that does NOT mean that I trust our many, many leaders to make the right decisions and I *will* continue to speak out against these continued injustices as they continue to pit us against one another then claim we wanted or deserved it because we did or did not do what they did not or did do because we did or did not vote. Not to mention that those who are really running this whole thing obviously arent looking for your willing participation and have, instead, apparently left us all vulnerable. Furthermore, there are a myriad of ways to look at issues; it is NOT all one way or the other.
