There are a lot of Antechinus scampering around in the bush along the College Walks at the moment. Antechinus are a mouse-like marsupial. It is probably a good time to remind folk that walk their dogs in these areas to keep them on the leash so that they do not disturb them. for those folk interested in looking for these creatures, I have generally found them in areas where there is a lot of leaf litter and fallen logs. You need to keep very still as they disappear quickly with any sudden movement.
