There are a lot of unknowns in Wednesdays races... 2 first time starters were hammered in the wagering (bet down to favorites) and then proceeded to run terrible races. Faiths Fancy Socks (4th) and Notwhatyouthink (8th) were crushed and sent off at 8-5 or less in their career debut both has some trouble at the start and both trailed throughout.. With the very small pools here I am not sure if it was some over zealous owner taking a shot on first timer (a $200 bet here makes YOU the Fav.) or was the horse well intentioned and just turned in a clunker,,if I knew what to do all the time I would be rich..but I look for workouts since the clunker (both have them) and riders sticking with them. I kind of like both of them..we will see
