There are a ton of ice bucket challenges popping up on my newsfeed. I havent followed it much but now that I have looked at it I understand what it is. So you have a choice between donating to the ALS Association or dumping a bucket of ice water over your head. I thought it was a good thing to donate to charity. So why is everyone choosing to do something unpleasant to themselves rather than give to charity? Did I correctly understand how the challenge works?
