There are a whole lot of skin problems we all face and yet there are always some new ones that take us by surprise. I was taken by surprise when I found out that I was developing skin tags. The doctor’s refer to skin tags as the achrochordon. One might find the name hard to spell or say but that’s what the doctor will tell you suffer from. They are not harmful and do not affect the human body and its functions in any way. Since, allopathic treatments usually are not my thing, I found out some simple home remedies for treatment of skin tags at home itself. Remedy 1) Take tea tree oil, 3 drops; fresh lemon juice, 5 drops; and ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar), 4 drops. Mix these contents and dab cotton in it. Put the dabbed cotton on your skin tag and secure it with medical tape. Use this home remedy for 10 days and you will get rid of the skin tag. You can try it longer if the skin tag seems to be taking longer to go. Remedy 2) Ginger can also be used to treat skin tags. Take freshly cut ginger, rub it into a paste and apply it on your skin tags. Skin tags will start disappearing in a few days. Keep the application going until the skin tags are completely gone. Remedy 3) Onion juice can be your best found home remedy for skin tags. Cut onion, put it in a container, add salt and leave it for 8-10 hours. Crush this mixture and apply it on the skin tags. Preferably time this activity as per your sleep time so as to apply the crushed onion and salt mixture on your skin tag and leave it over night for close to 8 hours. Wash and rinse it in morning. Follow this home remedy for 10-15 days and see the skin tags disappear. Remedy 4) Banana peels can be crushed, applied and left over night for treatment of skin tags; pineapple juice can also be used for application over the skin tag along for about two weeks to cure it; and also one can use apple cider vinegar application. Either one of these fruits peels or vinegar will help one get rid of skin tags easily and without much problem.
