There are approximately 13. 1 million people living in Malawi and of the women, only 67.3% are literate while only 76.5% of the men are literate. Also, only 13% of secondary-aged child attend school actually attend secondary school. If a greater percent of the women population could read and understand the importance of education, the whole family structure in malawi could.
