There are disgruntled, misguided ex-adventist...who generally leave the church not because of truth but personal conflicts that send them on their tangents...and, as with this link, you can see how out of context they skew things...for instance, they pass over the meaning of what being "sanctified" is...while it is true that salvation is justification by faith...one must not forget that Jesus then said, IF YOU BELIEVE ME THE WORKS THAT I DO YOU SHALL DO...that is, we are to continue in, following after Him, the purpose of His ministry...as humans, Paul tells us how to do this: acknowledge our state of hopelessness without Christ-for we can do nothing without Him, seeing our need of Christ, and then in repentance putting the old things (known sin) behind and moving forward to the higher calling...here, it is presented how to be perfect the only way perfection can be had...by forward Christian growth, which is: Sanctification. Therefore, in the same way faith without works is dead, so is justification without sanctification dead, for, without full submission and forward momentum you merely pay lip service to God as the bible states, and your heart is far from Him. There are many such sites, and, when investigating all of them you find them all the same...twisted distortions born of a disgruntled nature, a childish walking away of faith and truth. Here is the page link and you can see how out of context it is: exadventist/Home/Articles/Oops/tabid/512/Default.aspx In their anger, they - like satan - want to take you down with them. Beware and know it is easy to disprove all of what they say!
