There are lots of beaches closed around here. Not from red tides. But due to people that are eating the shellfish raw, when during the warm months, a natural bacteria will grow in the shell, eating it raw will make you sick. You can always call or ask us if your beach has been closed by the WA ST Health Dept. But again, please cook your shellfish now, you will cook that bacteria out when you do that.
