There are many mornings that I find myself filled with compassion - TopicsExpress

There are many mornings that I find myself filled with compassion and appreciation, knowing that God has been so gracious and merciful to me. There are so many people walking around discouraged with a feeling of abandonment, assessing their value and often coming up short. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, this truth must be realized in a person’s heart and mind in order for their value to be realized. When the Son of God came into my life, I was instantly taken out of the kingdom of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. I literally felt on my right side lighter as if a weight had come off. I believe that this was the weight of sin and guilt that I had accumulated in the first twenty years of my life. God wants us to shine forth bright revealing who He is, so others may put their faith in him. We don’t have to feel alone and down cast, all we have to do is to look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. To give him the right to sit in the command center of my life, and lead me every moment that I have left; bring glory to his Father and to our Father, his God and to our God. Never needing to feel alone, instead being connected to my Creator and operating in my original design, which was to glorify our Creator. Intimacy with God is the simple answer to personal sin. He is the way of escape. When temptation knocks on the door of my heart, I submit myself to God, resist the Devil, and he flees from me. I simply run into my Savior’s arms by faith. It is not about support groups encouraging Adam that he can make it, even though we can find support with other believers. Let’s be clear it takes Christ, “The Second Adam” who has already accomplished the work that pleased the Father. The trap for the believer is to think that he has to get himself out of sin, by trying harder. I believe that we have already been freed from sin since we find ourselves placed in Christ, in heavenly places. What we have to do is yield our command center “our hearts/minds” to the leading of the Holy Spirit, which will always bring us into the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. So instead of being conformed to the world, I am transformed by the renewing of my mind. Sin is nowhere to be found when I am in the presence of God, and that is exactly what happens whenever I draw near. Let’s lay aside every weight and sin that easily beset us, and run the race with patience, that is set before us.
