There are many promises for us to prosper, flourish and be established in life. The little hiccup here is that it doesnt particularly come on a free. There are conditions to it. I like to think the only things that come free are Salvation, which we obtained by the death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God which has always been there from existence. King David said, I have been young and now I am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. The condition here is righteousness and uprightness, the question now is am I righteous? Again Isaiah 1:19 says, if ye be willing and obedient ye shall eat the good of the land. Eating the good of the land means being in total dominion, victory and happiness. It means being totally free from bondage and having an established life through Christ even here on earth. The condition, yet again is total obedience and submission to our creator, God, learning to love and respect Him. The question is, am i willing and obedient? As we celebrate this great second Sunday in our month of marching forward, may we live a righteous life, be obedient and willing to follow God relentlessly. Amen.
