There are many techiques when it comes to mixing of mono sources. But i find little info on mixing multiple VST synths that are already outputed as a stereo signal. I have done tons of mixdowns in the bombastic soundtrack genre. Try to keep things from getting so buried that the listener wouldnt even know its there. Automation is king here as mixdowns can be quite complex. So for those who record in this genre what techniques do you use when mixing multiple stereo tracks and what are the pitfalls to avoid tracks sinking into the abyss?
