There are many who will disagree with this policy. Being Bear Spirit myself, it is not an area that I feel comfortable debating in, but I can see both sides. Strictly speaking Bear is not a predator, they are omnivores like Human Beings. What is hard for both the Human Being and the Bear is that much of our habitat has been polluted, dried up and blow away on the Winds, covered over by tar and asphalt, concrete and creator only knows what, and of course the chemicals that protect crops but kill the honey bees. A cage is a cage - a zoo is a zoo. the money that Defenders of Wildlife has to spend depends on what we as Human Beings are willing to spend. $1.00 a month from 20 million Human Beings is $2,400 a year that could be spend on Habitats for endangered Species.
