There are moments in every parents life when they put their head on the pillow and feel joy. It is nearly always just some random night. You tuck them in, big and small, sick and healthy, dinner times and laughter, you share time, you say goodnight, and the house has a peaceful, inexplicable feeling to some. But when you know that peace, that joy, that contentment, and the return love from those whose lives you impact most, and realize where that love comes from, it can be a most humbling experience. My daughter last night compared our family to a pumpkin pie. We are all different spices but together we make wonderful harmony and joy. With our family, and for those that know, those words are wise and ever so true. Thank God every day for those blessings, and for the blessings we can be for others. Lots to be thankful for during this time of year. Happy Thanksgiving week everyone. May your families be blessed and may that radiate to all around you.
