There are no more enemies to be defeated. Every enemy you can name was defeated at Calvary. The devil was defeated at Calvary. Colossians 2:15 “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” Sin and sickness were defeated at Calvary – for the Bible says in 1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” Death and Hell were defeated at Calvary. Revelation 1:18 “I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Satan can’t steal your life. You need not fear death, for you cannot die till Jesus allows it. And this is how it will be for us, too. In heaven, we will sing the praise of Jesus for His death on the Cross.---Rev. Richard C.
