There are no words that can describe just how sore I am this morning. Dear Lord.... In a very reflective mood at the moment. What we did yesterday was beyond tough. And so many different ages, sizes, walks of life all did it together. An unspoken camaraderie. Men (and even one woman) sacrificing their bodies and time to help perfect strangers over a steep ramp COVERED in mud....it was amazing. A lot of these obstacles would be impossible to complete without the help of others. I will never forget that experience. My body got me through. I am so grateful. Even more so, Im thankful to have participated in an event that helps wounded soldiers, families of veterans....people whose bravery and sacrifices have kept us safe. I have a lot of gratitude (and pain) this morning. Im so glad I did it.
