There are no words to describe the amount of love and support I received today from my classmates. As many of you know this past year has been a very rough year for my family and I. I have struggled to keep it together time and time again. There have been moments when I wanted to give up. Moments when I was angry with God for not making my little princess all better. Probably some of the lowest moments of my life thus far. However I have a tremendous amount of support and not just from the people closest to me. Today my classmates and first year respiratory students ( that I do not even know) demonstrated that. Some of them Ive only spoken to a few times in the 2 years we have been in our program. Yet they extended their hearts and love to us. I have never felt so much support in my life. I cannot thank them enough for thinking of my daughter and family. My heart is overjoyed with love and appreciation. I am in awe of the hearts of the people I spend everyday with and I didnt even know it. Today my classmates stood up in front of my class, speaking kind words of my character and their admiration for what I do. They then presented me with a check from the respiratory week bake sale we put on. The first year students and my classmates voted for my family to receive this..... Its not the money that gets me... Its the fact that they thought of us. There are so many causes this money could have went to and they thought of my family. I feel so undeserving of this. And I had no idea what to say at the time and still all I can say is THANK YOU!
