There are numerous points in time when reading scripture that ones soul bears witness with the written word, and our mind is stopped in mid-thought. For me, one of those times was when I really understood the written words, Who is my mother, and who are my brethren...For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. It resonated with me on so many levels that I thought I would implode if not utterly consumed. Today, I am here again. My soul has reached outside of myself to embrace the wording of Ezekiel 16:2-14, and versus 15-22 left me gobsmacked (that part has been my weakness in a way, I get puffed up). To summarize the former (as if it were at all possible), God saw me who no one else wanted...when I was left to die as a babe tossed off the side of a spartan cliff...His eye loved me, and He set me aside as His...nothing has been withheld from me...I am special because I am His.
