There are only a few times throughout the year that I allow myself to post a sappy (at least from a guys perspective...speaking stereo-typically of course) comment on FB. Today is one of those days. A little over 10 years ago I met a girl at a party. She was quite unimpressed with me when we first met as it was my graduation night and I had been enjoying myself for quite some time before she arrived. Simply put, we were on opposite ends of the enjoyment spectrum. I saw her again the next day, though, and fortunately made a better impression on her. She was able to see that the buffoon she had met the night before wasnt the usual me, just the me from time to time when I had cause to go overboard celebrating. :) From that day (May 9, 2004) forward we embarked on quite the journey. Then, 4 years ago to this day we embarked on yet another journey. So far, THAT journey has turned our family of two to a family of four and has moved us in and out of 3 different apartments and now, just this past year, into a permanent home to call our own. Like any relationship, we have definitely had our fair share of ups and downs, but our love for one another and the family we have created has enabled us to continue to persevere and work at it. Jhurene Crevier, thank you for the past 10 years, and especially the past 4. Heres to many more to come. There is no doubt that they will continue to be filled with love, laughter, and at times tears and frustration, but in the end we know we wouldnt have it any other way. I love you. Happy anniversary!
