There are over 15,000 people in the US Military serving today that are transgender. What does that mean? There are 15,000 people in uniform who are leaders and followers alike who have gender identity issues – basically transgender – who are currently serving honorably with a secret because they will lose their job in the military if they were open about who they are. Currently, gender orientation diversity of any kind in the US military is forbidden. It is against regulations and will be grounds for dismissal. Is that right or fair? - Kristin Beck
